INTEGRATING APPLE HEALTH DATA

Add valuable data to your daily factors without extra work by importing Apple Health data! Please note: you must give Symple permission to read Apple Health data before we can access it. If you have Steps switched on in Symple Settings but no steps are shown, then you have NOT given Symple permission in Apple Health. Fix this by:

  1. Go to Apple Health and tap Sources

  2. Find and tap Symple in the list of Apps

  3. Switch on the data you want to track.

  4. Make sure data is switched on in Symple too.

Available for devices running iOS 8 and later.

How to track steps

  1. Use the motion co-processor in your iPhone 5s or later. These iPhones automatically track and load your step count into Apple Health.

  2. Use an app such as RunKeeper, which uses GPS or the motion co-processor. Make sure to share that data with Apple Health.

  3. Use a pedometer or wearable, such as a Jawbone Up or Apple Watch. Just make sure to share your data with Apple Health.

  4. FitBit tracks steps but does not connect with Apple Health. Download a sync app to connect FitBit data to Apple Health.

Just make sure to share your steps data with Apple Health and give Symple permission to read it.

How to track sleep

  1. Use an app such as Sleep Cycle.

  2. Use a wearable such as Apple Watch.

  3. Use a sleep tracking device such as Aura.

Just make sure to share your sleep data with Apple Health and give Symple permission to read it.

Tracking heart rate

There are a number of chest and wrist devices on the market for tracking heart rate, depending on your need for accuracy. Here's a great overview

Just make sure to share your heart rate data with Apple Health and give Symple permission to read it.
